A member's letter...

All the team at the Kawasaki Riders Club were delighted when we received a personal letter from Mark Bonefield who attended the WSB members event as Silverstone, this is what he had to say...
Dear Kawasaki Riders Club,
WOW!, Brilliant and fantastic!
Thank you for such a wonderful day at the world superbikes (Silverstone) 5/8/12. Arriving at the venue we had priority parking and that was just the start. We were shown to our exclusive area, where we were provided breakfast (and later lunch!), tables laid with pens and posters and with a balcony over the pit lane. We watched the warm up from the balcony, followed by an interview with Tom Sykes, I managed to get a photo with Tom and he even signed my crash helmet for me! (pictures’ enclosed).
Then we had the opportunity to walk the pit lane, even meet some of the riders and get signed posters. The Kawasaki staff members were very friendly and helpful, even telling me where Tom Sykes was going to be for the interview, which we managed to get front seats for. Even though the racing was a bit stop/start, this just added to the anticipation of the racing, then seeing Loris Baz bring a Kawasaki win in the first race was celebrated with a big cheer. Although Tom Sykes started from the pit lane in the second race, he made excellent progress, only to have an off, even though he tried to stop the race as contaminant was on the track, still got placed 12th.
The entire day was brilliantly organised, the venue was fantastic and the value for money was second to none! My wife, whom wasn’t sure if she was going to enjoy the day, came home as delighted as I was. I would like to thank the staff at Kawasaki riders club for such a great day, and please, please give me first refusal for next year!!.
So many thanks again. M.Bonfield
